Room For Two

Dear God,

My heart, mind and life are all yours.

As the sand meets the ocean shore.

So will I crash deeper into your arms.

So deep, that I see from the eyes of Your heart.

Where my blood just flows for You.

Now I know the meaning of “the two shall be One”.

You crave all of me and I crave all of you.

It’s one heart with room for two.

You designed my life to be joined unto me.

I haven’t seen You, yet you are perfectly within me.

The Holy Spirit is real. A defining mystery.

I’m still in awe that the Trinity desires to make their home in me.

I wish for the whole world to know You like I do.

I’m not sure how I have been so transformed.

It’s started with brokenness and despair.

When all my pieces were scattered everywhere.

Is when the Master came walking through the door.

He’s a builder ready to transform.

But he can only rebuild what’s been completely torn.

Open and exposed the surgeon must be able to access my whole heart.

Heaven’s joy and salvation only sprouts when a blank canvas is the start.

Lord here I am, I offer all of myself to you.

Your heart and my heart are open.

One heart with room for two.
