A man is renewed in the crucible of pain.
It’s in anguish where the soul is branded a new name.
For I am Christ’s and it’s on His cross I belong.
At Calvary is where Heaven sings mankind’s rescue song.
The melody of Heaven is played on the instruments of tragedy.
I believe the Lord wants us to know without Him there is no victory.
So open your ears to Heaven’s song.
It’s played out in the crucible when all is going wrong.
The Lord desires we listen and understand only His way is right.
It’s in pain that we look up and become ready to receive His light.
So let His light shine down in my crucible of darkness.
When Heaven’s music plays through my flaws and cracks;
Is when the Lord Jesus and I walk in Oneness.
