Dear Child,
My greatest desire for your life is that your number one objective is not a trophy or a million dollar salary but an intimate, daily relationship with the Lord Jesus. The shiniest metal or the highest salary can never fill the depths of the human soul like the love of God.
Yes, it is possible to serve God and be wealthy or famous. But it’s not the wealth or the fame that defines who you are – God defines your life. He is the one in the driver seat. So the best thing you can do is let God drive at the wheel and dedicate to Him your time and focus. Be led by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus is worthy of all our time and attention. You can trust all of God’s motives and plans for your life. God only desires good things. Never bad.
“All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.” – Psalm 25:10 ESV
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:21 ESV
